How you level up depends on the type of character you are playing and the faction you're on: Alliance or Horde. In this World of Warcraft leveling guide, we are to tackle taking your Human character progress from level 1 to 30 in the Alliance. Some of the tips here may also work with other races but I definitely suggest looking for race specific-tips.

How to Start

After setting up your game, you’re now on level 1, ready to get started. You will start at Elwynn Forest in the North Shire Glade. I suggest that at best, you have to get yourself a little familiarized with the area first. You can now see a bunch of wolves running around.Start killing them and don't stop until you reach level 3.

Sounds so easy right?

Once you reach level 3, repair any damage and equip yourself with new armor. Believe me, this is helpful. The first actual quest is about to start. But before that, you have to select the quest, choose A Threat Within, then the follow-up called Kobold Camp Cleanup. When you have completed your quests, you would be geared up to face two more quests, Eagen Peltskinner and Wolves Across the Border.

Getting to level four and collecting 8 Though Wolf Meat items needs killing of more wolves. You could also face the grinding of Kobold’s Vermins to reach level four. When you’ve already reached it, you would need to turn in your quests and accept the next one given to you. Grind the Kobold Workers in the area to quickly reach Level 5.

Completing the succeeding seven quests will enable you to advance to level 7. They are all fairly easy and would not take at least a few hours for you to complete. It is highly recommended that you grind when you can to bolster your level faster.

Reaching level 30 from level 7 is just a simple procedure. You just have to take all the quests offered and turn them in to get the follow-ups. Tip: grind everytime you can, this will help you go to a higher level. On the other hand, you will need to have specific items to level up faster. Read on to find out what these items are.

Absolutely Must-Have Items:

Level Six – North Shire Valley

Get the 12 Red Burlap Bandanas by killing the Defias Thug.

Find Gerrick Padfoot. Search for Gerrick Padfoot and loot his head by killing him.

Level Seven – Goldshire

Get 4 pieces of meat by killing Stonetusk Boars.

Find and kill Goldtooth. Loot the special item named Bernice’s necklace.

Level Eight – Goldshire

Find a special chest called Rumbleshot’s Ammo found in the Gnome’s workshop in the Operation Recombobulation Quest. you would need to find a special chest in the Gnome’s workshop. Find and take the special chest.

Level 9 – Yeti Cave

Grind the Yetis until you have collected at least eight Wendigo’s Manes.

Return and find the gnomes. Return and find the gnomes, then grind them until collecting 8 Restabilization Cogs and Eight Gyromechanic Gears.

Level 10

Search for Frosmane and kill everything. Hold. Find the cave in the mountain above you. Find and take the basket of Shimmerweed located inside. Go inside and take the basket.

You're gonna be needing these items if you wanna level up faster. Just be sure that you find them in each level. Good luck!
